Essity receives CDP “A-List” recognition

Company singled out for its commitment to corporate transparency and innovation in forest management

Essity has again been recognized with a place on CDP’s prestigious “A List” for its outstanding commitment to corporate transparency and its remarkable performance in forest preservation, according to the global environmental non-profit organization CDP.

The results of CDP’s Forests 2023 questionnaire reveal that Essity is among a select group of companies that earned an “A” rating, outperforming more than 21,000 companies evaluated.

The company has been praised for its significant efforts in preventing deforestation and promoting sustainable forestry practices, establishing itself as a benchmark in terms of ambitious goals, concrete actions and environmental transparency. Essity stands out for its participation in the Consumer Goods Forum and its Forest Positive Action Coalition, where it works in collaboration with other companies and organizations to systematically address deforestation and promote biodiversity.
