Also for 2021, Körber offerd its security support during the cultural festival “Stanno Tutti Bene” and donated 10,000 masks for the festival that took place in the Gragnano vineyards in Capannori (Lucca, Italy) from August 4th to 8th. This activity is part of the initiatives supported by the company to strengthen the relationship with the territory and contribute to the fight against Covid-19.
“For us at Körber, it is fundamental to establish an active and participative link with the different territorial realities”, comments Oswaldo Cruz Jr., CEO of Körber Business Area Tissue. “Particularly in this delicate situation, we are proud to be able to do our part to give people back some normalcy and fun, putting safety first.”
On this occasion, the company made available free of charge to all participants its innovative product K.Protect Myfaceroll, a Körber Tissue patent that allows the creation of up to 10,000 facial masks per machine (the same ones used to make rolls of toilet paper and kitchen towels) minute, adaptable to the main “non-woven” materials, including a certain bamboo-based material that can be compostable with organic waste.
The Stanno Tutti Bene festival included book presentations, artistic presentations and concerts, it is an initiative of Lillero, a social promotion association that deals with reuse, sustainable consumption and articulation between people. The production is in charge of Salamini snc, a local company that provides technical services for fairs and organization of events. The collaboration of Fazenda Lenzini, which hosts the event, is essential.
“In the Festival’s philosophy – the organizers say – attention to the environment and health safety go hand in hand and represent one of the pillars of the event. In addition to the compostable masks, which we would like to thank Körber for, we intend to use biodegradable crockery and glass cups, and the water will also be public, guaranteed thanks to a fountain installed on the farm.”
