Lucart joins the United Nations Global Compact Network Italy
This is the largest global corporate social responsibility initiative.
The pact is based on ten universal principles that concern human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption. By joining it, the Lucart Group is committed to sharing, supporting and applying the ten principles to promote the development of a healthy and sustainable world economy.
“Adherence to the Global Pact Network Italy testifies Lucart’s commitment to the development of a responsible, sustainable and inclusive economic system. For some time, we have been directing our strategic decisions towards development models capable of creating shared value and respecting the planet. Membership will also allow us to contact a network of leading sustainability companies, contributing even more effectively to meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ”- commented Massimo Pasquini, CEO of Lucart.
In order to implement this strategy in the best possible way, in 2019 Lucart created a new committee responsible for implementing the sustainability program. Its task is to align the corporate objectives with the SDGs defined by the United Nations for 2030.
