In order to raise awareness about deforestation in the US and help restore and conserve some of the country’s most exploited forests, Nature Fluent producer and distributor of Cottontail bamboo toilet paper, announced their partnership with One Tree Planted.
The partnership was designed to be simple for customers to get involved in global reforestation. For each box of 24 rolls of Cottontail bamboo toilet paper purchased, the company will give $ 1 to One Tree Planted to plant a tree. Local partner organizations and community volunteers in areas where deforestation has occurred plant the trees.
The main objectives are to help reforestation efforts nationally and internationally, to empower consumers with the choice to be part of the solution and to raise awareness of the importance of convenient access to sustainable products.
Planting trees is one of the easiest and most sustainable ways to positively affect the environment, they help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink and provide habitat for more than 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Trees also provide jobs for more than 1.6 billion people and absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere.
