P&G Releases 2020 Citizenship Report
In the report, the company details the progress across its Citizenship focus areas of Community Impact, Equality & Inclusion and Environmental Sustainability

Today, P&G released its 2020 Citizenship Report, detailing progress across its Citizenship focus areas of Community Impact, Equality & Inclusion and Environmental Sustainability – all built on a foundation of Ethics and Corporate Responsibility.
The last year brought big challenges for the company, which mobilized to donate tens of millions in product, in-kind and cash donations to help in the relief efforts of COVID-19, followed with the Take on Race initiative, to face the racial inequality in the U.S. and has achieved major environmental goals, such as sending zero manufacturing waste to landfill across all P&G manufacturing sites globally.
“The past year is proof that Citizenship cannot be something done on the side; it has to be built into how we do business every day. Not only does it build trust and equity with consumers and the broader set of stakeholders we serve, when done with the right intentions and with meaningful actions, it drives growth and value creation, which allows us to be a force for good and a force for growth in our world that needs us all to work together, ”said David Taylor, P & G’s Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The company’s contributions have been recognized externally with recognitions from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation for Social Responsibility in Action, Forbes as one of the Best Employers for Diversity, Barron’s Most Sustainable Companies and Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies.
The progress reported in the report demonstrates P&G’s commitment to improving lives on a daily basis through its employees, brands, partners and communities. Highlights from this year’s report include:
- Community Impact
- Equality & Inclusion
- Environmental Responsibility
