- 2018: The second major greenfield investment commenced with the construction of an integrated plant in Inola, Oklahoma. Luigi Lazzareschi, CEO of Sofidel, was a featured speaker at the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, D.C.
- 2020: The first paper machine at the new integrated plant in Inola began operation in January.
- 2021: Sofidel launched Nicky, its first consumer brand in the U.S. market.
