In July 2021, Servipap in conjunction with its partner office in Europe, were selected to supply a bundler machine for bath tissue and kitchen towel. The machine was built in Italy, and it was operated by a large producer of tissue paper for a number of years. The final destination will be to an independent converter located in Morocco. The client is aiming to expand its portfolio of products by offering new bundle formats on both products. The machine was professionally dismantled and shipped to its final destination for installation. In addition to the bundler, a variety of spare parts were supplied with the equipment for the multiple bundling formats in bath tissue and kitchen towel.
ORIGIN: Latin American DESTINATION: USA
In the Americas, Servipap has been awarded the scope to dismantle and transport a converting line from one of the largest tissue producers in the world with operations in Latin America to an independent converter in the United States. In this occasion, it is a converting line for Away-From-Home (AFH) bath tissue and hand towel products. Servipap promoted, brokered, dismantled and transported the equipment from origin to the final destination. The equipment was originally built in Italy, and it was put in production by the original owner in the 2000’s to the highest operational standards. While the AFH market is in a recovery path as a result of the pandemic, the client acquiring this equipment has seen an increase of contracts for these products from regional distributors, and they are looking to increase the efficiency of their operations by adding this line.
