“We’d like to see everyone making the switch to eco-friendly toilet paper,” says Who Gives A Crap executive

The sustainable toilet paper maker has launched itself into the ALDI supermarket chain in Australia, with the aim of taking its products to the masses

Recently, the toilet paper brand Who Gives A Crap started to be sold in the ALDI supermarket chain, in Australia, with the aim of offering sustainable toilet paper to the masses. 12 exclusive packs were developed for the chain’s consumers, who can now purchase “super long” rolls of bamboo or recycled toilet paper in more than 580 stores across the country.

Innovative, in addition to developing cheerful and colorful packaging, sold in 40 countries and adopting a humorous tone to talk to its audience, Who Gives A Crap was a pioneer in the creation of an online toilet paper delivery service.

Who Gives A Crap allocates 50% of its profits to clean water and sanitation projects around the world, such as building toilets in developing countries, and therefore believes that making its products available to ALDI customers will help promote even more your project and continue to improve access to hygiene, clean water and basic sanitation for those in need.

“Our customers have long helped us to create a community of people who make a difference through their everyday purchases. Launching in ALDI stores will get our toilet paper in front of more Aussies. We hope this will help catalyse a new age of consumer-driven philanthropy,” says Simon Griffiths, CEO and co-founder of Who Gives A Crap.

According to Elissa Foster, the company’s head of sustainability, Who Gives A Crap is a company that seeks a balance between profit and purpose, considering the impact of its decisions on its workers, customers, suppliers, community and environment, therefore, socio-environmental projects are at the top of its list of priorities. “As a B Corp, it’s our priority to achieve the highest levels of environmental and social impact. In the future, we’d like to see everyone making the switch to eco-friendly toilet paper,” says the executive.

“By selling our products in ALDI, we see a great opportunity to make it fun and easy for more people to make that switch to 100% recycled paper or bamboo TP,” Foster added.

To date, Who Gives A Crap has donated more than $10 million to clean water and sanitation nonprofits around the world, working with global partners to improve community access to water, toilet and hygiene solutions.
