Gambini’s TouchMax embosser: maximum converting versatility

The company presents an embossing/laminator equipped with five steel embossing rolls that automatically adjusts and can laminate in five different ways

Gambini’s TouchMax is a piece of equipment that promises to revolutionize the current scenario of tissue converters. With it, the company offers a single machine that can transform production, reducing time and costs, improving safety and the final quality of the product.

Versatility is a core value for Gambini and this has driven it to develop the TouchMax, a versatile device capable of meeting the diverse needs of different customers.

For the company, adaptation and customization means embracing the philosophy of its customers, incorporating it into its high-tech machinery, to fully support the needs of the industry. With that in mind, Gambini has always designed complete converting lines, extremely flexible and versatile, with individual components that fit the customer’s reality.

TouchMax, for example, is the most versatile embosser/laminator on the market. With up to 90 units installed, for many years, this equipment has been holding the record for the best embosser in terms of quality and flexibility.

The machine is equipped with five steel rolls, of which three are embosser rolls and two are micros. These rolls are always installed, which means that it is possible to simply switch via HMI from one embossing pattern to another, instead of stopping production for a long time to install another embossing roll.

Another advantage of TouchMax is that it can change the pattern to be embossed on paper in just five minutes. A process that would otherwise involve much more time and costs, beyond it being a dangerous procedure. This makes the solution offered by Gambini more flexible, dynamic and suitable for production needs.

While switching from one roll to another, TouchMax is able to memorize the settings used and adapt to each change-over. Its setting process is also completely innovative, in fact, you only need to set a few parameters on the panel and the other settings are chosen automatically, without any human intervention. This way, when the embossing pattern is exchanged for a different product, even the first log manufactured has high quality, as the machine is programmed to remember the process.

This makes the embosser/laminator offered by Gambini one of the safest machines on the market, almost nullifying the risk of accidents for those who have to operate it.

This quick and easy setting is also possible thanks to Gambini’s FlexLess technology. With it, the TouchMax steel rolls do not flex or deform, ensuring uniform pressure without the need for crowned rollers.

Finally, the TouchMax can laminate in five different ways (point-to-point, point-to-flat, LNG, synchronized, random), making it a unique laminator that can provide many variations and combinations for each production line.
