CloroxPro expands EcoClean line with new sustainable disinfectant wipes

CloroxPro, the trusted manufacturer of Clorox professional products, has expanded its portfolio of sustainable products with the launch of CloroxPro Cloro EcoClean disinfectant wipes. Made with 100% vegetable substrate and citric acid of natural origin, the wipes eliminate 99.9% of germs without the use of bleach, ammonia or alcohol, offering a practical and more ecological alternative for sanitizing surfaces.

The growing search for sustainable solutions has been one of the factors driving innovation in the cleaning sector. According to the 2024 Clean Index Survey, 60% of facilities already have targets to increase their use of environmentally conscious products, while two thirds of cleaning professionals are adopting more sustainable options in their work.

 

PRACTICAL AND EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS

Clorox EcoClean disinfectant wipes have been developed to make cleaning easier in shared spaces such as offices, schools and gyms. They are gentle on surfaces such as tables and doorknobs, but effective against viruses such as influenza, norovirus and COVID-19. In addition, they use 38% less plastic in their composition, in line with the brand’s environmental commitments.

The EcoClean range includes other sustainable products:

• EcoClean disinfectant cleaner: eliminates pathogens in up to two minutes, without persistent chemical residues;
• EcoClean multi-purpose cleaner: ideal for removing dirt and grease, ideal for bathrooms, school areas and workplaces.

All products are produced with 25% post-consumer recycled plastic, contributing to corporate sustainability goals and meeting certifications such as LEED and Healthy Green Schools.

The Clean Index survey highlighted the importance of products that guarantee a clean and safe environment:

• 79% of consumers consider it essential that companies provide disinfectant wipes;
• 80% point to sanitized surfaces as an essential factor in clean spaces;
• 73% use disinfectant wipes regularly in their routines.
