Metsä Tissue recognized as one of the top employers in Germany
The company, which is part of the Metsä Group, received the Top Employer Award in Germany for the third consecutive time
Recently, Metsä Tissue, one of the leading suppliers of tissue paper in Europe for domestic and professional use, and part of the Metsä Group, was recognized for the third consecutive time by the Top Employer Award as a top employer in Germany.
This is a recognition of what has been achieved and, at the same time, an impetus for new approaches. During the certification process, Metsä Tissue faced international comparison across the world.
This year, more than 2,000 Top Employers were recognized in 121 countries and regions on five continents.
According to the Top Employers Institute, Metsä Tissue understood the importance of the development and well-being of its employees and, in doing so, was able to improve its certification results once again. Performance in human resource management was particularly convincing in the areas of leadership, ethics and integrity.
For Simone Klein, the company’s human resources vice-president, the recognition is the result of the company’s commitment and efforts to provide a healthy environment for its employees.
“It is no coincidence that we have been named Top Employer in Germany for the third time. We have done a lot to achieve this and are committed to diversity, inclusion, gender equality and equal opportunities for all. To this end, for example, we regularly conduct general employee surveys as well as ethics surveys to get feedback from our employees and initiate necessary actions and improvements. It is important for Metsä Tissue that each individual employee maintains and continuously develops their professional competence and skills at workplace,” said Klein.
