P&G partners with Best Friends Animal Society to support animal adoption
Through its Bounty Paper Towels brand, the company is partnering with Best Friends Animal Society to pick up adoption fees at their locations nationwide all month long
Bounty Paper Towels, a P&G brand, is celebrating loveable, messy pets everywhere by picking up pet adoption fees in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, a leader of the no-kill movement working to save the lives of shelter pets across the country.
Bounty’s vice president, Janette Yauch, noted “Some animals spend over 500 days in a shelter. We’re proud to be teaming up again with Best Friends Animal Society in an effort to encourage people to adopt the pets who’ve been at the shelters the longest to get adopted the quickest.”
To initiate this collaboration, Bounty will be on hand at Best Friends Animal Society’s Super Adoption event in Los Angeles, CA, November 4-5, alongside award-winning presenter, author and actress Maria Menounos, a proud mother of two rescued puppies.
Best Friends Animal Society works in partnership with an extensive network of shelters and animal welfare organizations to conduct pet rescue programs across the country. At the Best Friends Super Adoption event, approximately 1,000 dogs and cats in search of a loving home will be offered.
Brittany Thorn, executive director of Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles, stressed “Every pet deserves a loving home, we are thrilled to partner with Bounty on Super Adoption and throughout November as they generously offered to collect adoption fees at our six rescue centers, as well as at Best Friends Animal Society’s Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.”
