E80 Group to Showcase Innovations at MIAC 2025 and Discuss the Future of Smart Factories
The group will present advanced solutions in intralogistics safety and efficiency, with experts Stefano Pasquali and Leonardo Palma leading a conference on the evolution of smart factories and distribution centers

E80 Group will participate in MIAC 2025 — Stand 52, presenting its latest innovations and addressing the improvements needed to face the future of the tissue market.
On the second session of day two, at 4:30 PM, Stefano Pasquali and Leonardo Palma, experts from the group, will lead the conference titled “The future evolution of smart factories and distribution centres: safety and efficiency in a single system integrator.”
The company emphasized that safety is the guiding principle of every project, reflected in solutions such as SmartDect, a patented device based on ultra-wideband technology that can be implemented without additional infrastructure. This system enhances the ability of LGVs (Laser Guided Vehicles) to detect nearby operators equipped with tags, reducing risks associated with unpredictable behavior and potentially dangerous situations.
E80 Group has also advanced the automation of truck loading and unloading using LGVs—a technology well established in the U.S. and now applied in the European market. The modular system connects the warehouse directly to loading bays, handling pallets of different sizes with millimetric precision while ensuring operational continuity, safety, and space optimization.
These integrated innovations aim to improve plant safety and efficiency, marking a significant step forward toward more advanced intralogistics.
