Essity appoints Ilham Smaali as new Head of Supply Chain

Essity has announced the appointment of Ilham Smaali as Head of Supply Chain, a position she will assume on December 31, 2025. With this appointment, she will become part of the company’s Executive Management Team.

The newly established Supply Chain Enablement function is designed to secure economies of scale in sourcing and fulfillment, while also supporting functional transformation and the standardization of work methods for decentralized production and supply chain operations.

 

Smaali has been with Essity since 2023, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Planning and Logistics. Prior to joining Essity, she held senior roles in manufacturing, logistics, and planning at Estée Lauder, Nike, and Procter & Gamble. She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from ENSICAEN, France.

Holding dual French and Moroccan nationality, Smaali will be based in Paris.
