For the fourth year in a row, the company occupies a prominent position in the “Household Products” sector and reaffirms its commitment to Sustainability

Essity, the health and hygiene multinational, has been recognized for the fourth consecutive year in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook. The company was classified as a leader in the “Household Products” sector, consolidating its ongoing efforts to promote sustainable practices. In addition, the company is also listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), one of the most prestigious global rankings assessing the sustainable performance of companies.
S&P Global carries out a detailed analysis of more than 7,690 companies around the world, considering aspects related to the environment, social responsibility and governance (ESG). To be included in the Sustainability Yearbook, you need to be among the top 15% in your sector. In Essity’s case, the ranking is even more significant, as the company ranks among the top 1% of performers in the “Household Products” sector.
Inclusion in the DJSI reflects the company’s solid sustainability strategy, which stands out not only in the DJSI Europe assessment, but also in the DJSI World. This global index, which is considered the biggest players in the market, places Essity among the top 10% of companies in terms of sustainable management, with a focus on long-term criteria and a positive impact on the economic, environmental and social dimensions.
