Georgia-Pacific employees join Habitat for Humanity in volunteer effort in Atlanta

Initiative marks nearly 30 years of partnership to expand access to affordable housing in the metropolitan area

This month, Georgia-Pacific employees rolled up their sleeves to help an Atlanta family achieve the dream of homeownership. Equipped with hammers, brushes, and safety gear, the volunteers took part in building a new home, contributing to the installation of siding, soffits, handrails, and applying vibrant yellow paint that brought the future house to life.

The initiative was carried out in partnership with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, an organization dedicated to expanding access to affordable housing throughout the metro area. Georgia-Pacific and the organization have maintained a strong collaboration for nearly three decades, working together to promote dignity, security, and better living conditions for local families.
