IMA TMC sets new performance benchmark on D-NAMIC

Baby pants solution reaches 1,000 ppm infeed and 75 bpm packaging, reinforcing IMA TMC’s commitment to the South American market

IMA TMC has set a new important milestone on the D-NAMIC, validating the system at 1,000 baby pants per minute infeed and 75 bags per minute packaging. This achievement is the result of months of coordinated work between the Italian Research and Development (R&D) team and the Brazilian manufacturing and testing site.

The success was driven by three key factors: a solid engineering method applied from the earliest development phases, meticulous attention to every mechanical and software detail, and continuous listening to field feedback from both teams. Together, these elements allowed IMA TMC to overcome the typical challenges posed by high-speed baby pants handling and to stabilize a complete format configuration now ready for the market.

This solution strengthens IMA TMC’s ability to support hygiene producers in South America, with IMA TMC do Brasil playing a strategic role in delivering high-performance, flexible technologies closer to local customers.

Michele Rasi, R&D Director at IMA TMC, states that “this result shows what can be achieved when teams share one method, one focus and one goal. Thanks are extended to both Italy and Brazil for the passion they put into making this solution market-ready.”

Alexandre Faria de Souza, General Manager at IMA TMC do Brasil, reports that the company is “happy to celebrate this achievement. A high-performance machine with a compact and modular design has been delivered to the Brazilian market, an intelligent and flexible platform capable of executing all format configurations. Another major innovation is the operation-centered design, which ensures a friendly and intuitive experience, resulting in reduced setup time. We thank our client for the trust placed in our work, which strengthens IMA TMC’s commitment to the Nonwoven sector.”
