Kimberly-Clark promotes solidarity with the initiative “Backpacks for Homeless Veterans”
SALUTE joins forces to support those in street situations with an annual initiative of backpacks filled with essential products

In a demonstration of solidarity and commitment, the SALUTE chapter, a Kimberly-Clark affiliate, held its annual “Backpacks for Homeless Veterans” event as a show of solidarity and commitment. More than 30 volunteers came together to assemble nearly 150 backpacks loaded with essentials, including Kleenex® and Cottonelle®, personal hygiene items, socks, ponchos, blankets, water bottles, granola bars, lanterns and first aid kits.

The SALUTE initiative was carried out in collaboration with Cherokee Homeless Veterans and American Legion Thomas M. Brady Post 45, ensuring effective distribution of these backpacks to veterans in need. This altruistic act reflects Kimberly-Clark’s continued commitment to communities and the positive contribution to the lives of those who have served the nation.
