Kimberly-Clark’s carbon footprint progress

Reducing the carbon footprint has been part of Kimberly-Clark’s sustainability journey for 25 years.

In 2019, they achieved a 34.7% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 (GHG) greenhouse gas emissions over a 2005 baseline and are now committed to doing more.

Over the next decade, the company will use science-based targets to reduce their absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 50% over a 2015 base year by achieving greater energy efficiency, enacting innovative conservation efforts, investing in alternative and renewable energy technologies, and driving down emissions across their supply chain.
