Kruger Products Inc. is investing US$35 million in a new converting line at its manufacturing plant in North Memphis, Tennessee, a move that will increase production capacity and create 20 new jobs, according to company officials.
The new line was designed to manufacture bathroom tissue and paper towels and will increase the plant’s annual production capacity by three million cases, the company said.
The investment reinforces Kruger Products’ manufacturing operations in Memphis while expanding the facility’s ability to meet demand for its tissue and towel products.
