Minnesota Lynx and LOLA partner to provide free feminine care products at Target Center
Initiative aims to reduce barriers, promote health equity and destigmatize period care during all arena events

The Minnesota Lynx, a Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team, and LOLA, a pioneer in organic feminine care and reproductive wellness, have announced a new partnership to offer free feminine care products at Target Center in Minneapolis. This marks the first time the arena will provide complimentary feminine hygiene products to all event attendees.
According to Carley Knox, Lynx President of Business Operations, the initiative aligns with the organization’s core values. “Prioritizing women’s health and health equity, reducing barriers to access and destigmatizing the conversation around women’s periods are foundational values of the Lynx”, said Knox. “LOLA is committed to these same values, and we are excited to provide free and accessible feminine care to not only Lynx fans, but all Target Center guests”.
LOLA, known for its organic and high-quality menstrual products, will supply the venue with free period care items for the duration of all Target Center events. Kelly Murphy, General Manager at LOLA, emphasized the broader impact of the initiative. “We’re proud to partner with the Minnesota Lynx and Target Center to make period care freely available to all guests”, she stated. “At LOLA, we believe access to clean, high-quality period products is fundamental to true health equity. By showing up for fans and young athletes alike, this partnership helps normalize the conversation around periods and addresses a real obstacle to participation – on and off the court”.
Beyond product distribution, the partnership includes a community outreach component. LOLA and the Timberwolves & Lynx Basketball Academy will host free basketball clinics throughout the Lynx season, providing participants with complimentary LOLA products. Additionally, a special back-to-school shopping event will take place in August at Target, engaging local youth and further expanding access to essential hygiene products.
This initiative reflects a growing trend across North America toward improving access to period care products in public venues, including sports arenas, schools and workplaces.
