Ontex recognized by CDP for supplier-driven climate action
Company featured in the 2024 Supplier Engagement Leaderboard for its Scope 3 emissions strategy

Ontex Group NV, a leading international provider of personal care and hygiene products, has been recognized for the second year in a row by CDP for its supplier engagement on climate issues. The company has earned a spot in the 2024 Supplier Engagement Leaderboard, which highlights top-performing companies addressing Scope 3 emissions across their supply chains.
This recognition builds on Ontex’s earlier CDP “A” rating for climate, received in February 2024, and underscores the company’s broader sustainability progress.
“At Ontex, we are committed to integrating every link in our value chain – ensuring not only outstanding value and quality for our customers today, but also paving the way for a sustainable future for generations to come. We will keep on working with our suppliers to reduce the CO₂ emissions not only from raw materials but also from transportation”, said Marco Querzoli, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Ontex.
As part of its 2024 climate strategy, Ontex deepened its understanding of supplier sustainability maturity by collecting data on supplier targets, measurement approaches, and ongoing environmental programs.
More than 50% of emissions from purchased goods and services are now covered by supplier-reported data, allowing for closer monitoring of performance improvements across the supply chain.
These efforts contributed to Ontex’s inclusion in the CDP 2024 Supplier Engagement Leaderboard, reflecting the company’s leadership in collaborative climate action and laying the groundwork for future Scope 3 reductions.
