Pampers unveils new premium protection diapers with double skin and leak protection

Recent research by the brand showed diaper rash impacts both babies’ moods and parents’ well-being, prompting the launch of a new diaper line designed to keep delicate skin dry and protected

Pampers has recently conducted a study revealing that 73% of parents in the U.K. believe diaper rash affects their baby’s mood. Given that babies’ skin is 30% thinner and more delicate than that of adults, the diaper area is particularly susceptible to irritation, especially when exposed to moisture from urine and feces.

The research also highlighted that diaper rash affects parents emotionally, with 84% expressing feelings of guilt, anxiety, or helplessness when their child suffers from skin irritation. Additionally, 97% of parents agree that keeping a baby’s skin dry and protected improves their mood and overall happiness. In response to these findings, Pampers has introduced the new Pampers Premium Protection line, designed to offer enhanced skin protection and leak prevention.

The Pampers Premium Protection New Baby diapers (sizes 0-3) and Pampers Premium Protection nappies (sizes 4-6) are equipped with a DermaComfort Layer that quickly absorbs wetness and mess, locking it away from the skin to ensure dryness and prevent irritation. The diapers are made from ultra-soft materials that allow the skin to breathe, providing comfort while the Stop & Protect pocket prevents leaks. The product has also received approval from the British Skin Foundation.

As part of the launch campaign, Pampers has enlisted singer and first-time father Olly Murs to promote the new diapers. Murs expressed his enthusiasm for the product, stating: “I love being a dad, and I’m learning all the time. When Madison is happy, Amelia and I are happy, so there’s nothing better than keeping our daughter comfy and her skin protected with these new Pampers Premium Protection nappies. They are definitely doing the trick!”

In conjunction with the campaign, Murs visited a small village in Dorset called “Scratchy Bottom”, encouraging parents across Britain to try the new Pampers Premium Protection diapers and help make Scratchy Bottom the only one of its kind in the country.
