Shailesh Jejurikar to become CEO of Procter & Gamble in January 2026

Current Chief Operating Officer will succeed Jon Moeller, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman

The Procter & Gamble Company has announced that Shailesh Jejurikar, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Jon Moeller as President and Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2026. Moeller will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, where he will continue to lead the Board of Directors and support the company’s strategic direction.

Jejurikar has also been nominated to stand for election as a Director at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in October 2025.

A P&G veteran since 1989, Jejurikar has held senior leadership roles across categories and regions, including Fabric Care, Home Care, and Enterprise Markets. His leadership spans developed and developing markets in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He has also been instrumental in driving results in P&G’s supply chain, IT, and global business services.

“Shailesh is an outstanding leader, and the Company will benefit from his ongoing leadership to build on the strong foundation he has helped create”, said Joe Jimenez, Lead Director of P&G’s Board.

Jon Moeller emphasized the success of P&G’s integrated business strategy and his confidence in the leadership transition. “It has been an honor to serve as CEO of P&G, and I am incredibly proud of the value created by the people of P&G through an integrated strategy that is being executed with excellence,” he stated. “I look forward to supporting Shailesh and the entire team as they continue to improve the performance and value of P&G brands and categories to win with consumers and customers around the world”.

The transition reinforces P&G’s commitment to consistent leadership and business continuity across its global operations, including its hygiene and tissue categories, with leading brands such as Pampers, Always, Bounty, and Charmin.
