Sofidel earns top recognition from CDP for climate action and supplier engagement
Company received an A- in climate performance, above the European average, and secured a place on the Supplier Engagement A-list

Sofidel Group, one of the world’s largest tissue paper producers and known for its Regina brand, has once again been recognized by CDP, an independent organization that evaluates corporate environmental performance. The company earned high scores for its efforts in climate action and supplier engagement.
In climate performance, Sofidel achieved an A- rating, placing it above the European average of C and in line with the industry average (A-). The company was also included in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) A-list, which highlights businesses actively addressing climate change throughout their supply chains.
“These results reflect our strong commitment to supporting the ecological transition – a goal that is increasingly challenging and for which collaboration across the entire supply chain is essential”, said Riccardo Balducci, Sofidel Group Sustainability Director.
In its 2024 cycle, CDP assessed the environmental performance of more than 22,700 companies worldwide, underscoring Sofidel’s positioning among global leaders in sustainability within the tissue industry.
