The Changing Table receives more than 215,000 Huggies diapers to support families in Mid-Missouri
Donation made possible by the National Diaper Bank Network, Kimberly-Clark and Huggies will benefit more than 4,300 children in vulnerable situations

The Changing Table has benefited from a significant donation of 215,016 Huggies diapers, made possible by the National Diaper Bank Network, Kimberly-Clark and Huggies. The donation will make it possible to assist more than 4,300 children in Mid-Missouri, providing essential relief for families in vulnerable situations.
Disposable diapers are basic items for children’s well-being, but many families face difficulties accessing them. The large donation represents a direct positive impact, ensuring that thousands of babies and children have their needs met.
Given the magnitude of the shipment, The Changing Table had to rely on the support of logistical partners. As the organization does not have the infrastructure to receive large loads, Lake Movers helped to store and transport the diapers until space was available in the diaper bank. The first load has already been delivered, and new shipments will be distributed over the next few days.
Laura Atkinson, executive director of The Changing Table, highlighted the importance of this initiative. ” This donation is more than just diapers – it’s about dignity and relief for families who struggle with this basic necessity. It’s incredible to see how our local businesses step up to make a difference,” she said.
The Changing Table emphasized its gratitude to the National Diaper Bank Network, Kimberly-Clark, Huggies and all the companies and volunteers who made this donation possible. The organization remains committed to providing support to families in Mid-Missouri, ensuring that more children have access to the essential products for a healthy childhood.
