Tissue Link Americas #9 | Tissue Online North America
In this edition, Brian Uzcategui and Hector Hurtado talked about the year for Tissue Online Portals and the tissue paper market
Another Tissue Link Americas is on the air, a program that aims to connect the entire tissue market in the Americas, with the participation of Brian Uzcategui, and Hector Hurtado, co-founder of Tissue Online Latin America.
In this edition, the last of 2021, they talked about the year for each of the three Tissue Online platforms, in their respective regions. Combined, the portals already have 50,000 followers on social media and are recognized and accepted as a company that, organically, brings great value to the industry.
From Brian’s point of view, overall, this year’s results were either expected or accepted. Companies are satisfied with the results achieved, but there is a phenomenon in which converters are operating at somewhat full capacity, but retailers are still limiting purchases to 2 packs per person.
Addressing the overview of the tissue market in Latin America, Hector commented on the increase in pulp prices and the logistical and ocean freight problems faced by the entire supply chain. On the other hand, there were investments in the market, with upgrades of machines and industrial parks and consolidation of large companies.
