Tissue Summit Latinoamérica 2025 consolidates its position as the key annual event for the tissue industry in the region
The event also featured the launch of its North American edition, the Tissue Summit North America, set to take place in November 2026

With the theme “Technology and Digital Transformation”, the 4th edition of Tissue Summit Latinoamérica was held on September 2 and 3 at the W Santiago Hotel in Chile, bringing together executives, experts, and suppliers from across the tissue paper value chain. Organized by Nexum Group, the event reaffirmed its role as the leading annual gathering of the tissue industry in Latin America, combining an exhibition, conferences, networking, and industry recognition.
DAY ONE: TECHNOLOGY, RECOGNITION, AND STRATEGIC DEBATE
The opening session was led by Felipe Quintino, CEO of Nexum Group and founder of Tissue Online Latinoamérica. Throughout the day, participants attended presentations from companies such as Valgroup, Voith, Toscotec, Firefly, Valmet, Color Química, INCAPE, BW Converting, Solenis, Gambini, Futura Plusline, Nalco Water, and Mathiesen.
One of the highlights was Suzano’s keynote, delivered by Luís Bueno, Executive Vice President of Consumer Goods and Corporate Affairs, who presented details of the global joint venture with U.S.-based Kimberly-Clark, repositioning the company as a strategic player in the sector.
In the afternoon, the Tissue Online Latinoamérica Recognition Ceremony honored FPC Tissue, Suzano, Softys, and Kupel for their contributions to the development of the industry, whether through investments, regional expansion, or strategic leadership.
The day also featured the first edition of the Tissue Online Latin America Awards, which recognized the most-voted suppliers by the audience. The winners were:

The first day concluded with the Special Tissue Panel, featuring Cristián Rubio (FPC Tissue), Sebastian Gabler (Essity), and Demian Siburu (Softys), moderated by Felipe Quintino, in a debate on strategic trends and industry challenges.

DAY TWO: MARKET ANALYSIS AND GLOBAL TRENDS
The program continued on September 3 with two special lectures: “From tree to tissue: keys and opportunities in the new pulp era”, by Gabriel Fernandez, independent pulp and paper analyst; and “The strategic role of the global south and innovation trends in tissue and hygiene”, by Michel Piroutek, analyst at Euromonitor International.
In addition to presentations from companies such as UCT, Sertec20, SLK Chemicals, Andritz, Projet B.V., WEKO, 9Septembar, Anders, Buckman, LRB Química, and Omet, the day was marked by strong interaction between professionals and suppliers, with live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies and valuable networking opportunities.
CONSOLIDATION AND UPCOMING EVENTS
With record attendance and two days of intense programming, Tissue Summit Latinoamérica 2025 strengthened its relevance as a strategic platform for updates, business generation, and building industry connections.
On this occasion, Nexum Group also announced its upcoming agenda: Summit Week, which will bring together the Tissue Summit Brasil, the Packaging Summit, and the launch of the Pulp Summit in the same week, in addition to the debut of the Personal Care Summit, dedicated to the personal care products industry.
Tissue Summit Latinoamérica 2026 has already been confirmed for Panama, and the big news is the creation of Tissue Summit North America, which will take place in November 2026 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States.
