Cardinal Tissue announced on its LinkedIn page that they have been selected for Walmart’s open call for new products and will get to virtually pitch its products on June 30th.
Walmart recently announced a new commitment to American jobs and communities, with a goal of investing $350 billion in products made, grown, or assembled in the U.S. over the next 10 years. It is estimated that this investment will support more than 750,000 new American jobs. This is one way in which the company is working to support that commitment.
A large volume of entrepreneurs across the country who have shelf-ready products applied for this rare opportunity to pitch products to Walmart that are shelf-ready and made, grown, or assembled in the United States, however only 1,000 companies were selected, with Cardinal Tissue being one of those companies.
According to the company this is a huge opportunity and it supports their mission of the continuation of ongoing new investments and job growth in Rutherford County, North Carolina.
Maybe very soon people will be able to find Cardinal Tissue on the shelves of Walmart.
