INCAPE and Valmet workshop: quality and support for the tissue market

Recently, a team from the company conducted a technical visit to Valmet in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil, for training focused on the core conversion process. 

During the training, the technical team closely followed the conversion stages alongside Valmet specialists, gaining practical insights into the operation of equipment that uses INCAPE’s paper. 

The technology behind this paper was practically examined, highlighting the advantages it offers: greater efficiency in conversion, savings on orbital discs, and optimized setup times. These benefits are complemented by INCAPE’s technical support, which has a skilled team dedicated to delivering excellent service, enhancing their capabilities to ensure faster, more specialized customer support, which directly benefits productivity and quality in the tissue sector. 

CONSTANT INNOVATION AND MORE BENEFITS FOR THE CLIENT 

As the only specialist in maculature paperboard for the tissue market in Latin America, INCAPE constantly innovates through internal studies and team training in production and quality control. An example of this is the Ultra Clean paper, developed to reduce ash content to as low as 2%, promoting savings on orbital discs, conversion line efficiency, reduced setup time, and specialized technical support. 

The partnership with Valmet was highlighted by Daniel Schroeder, the company’s Commercial Manager. “The workshop with INCAPE, our long-standing partner, is essential for sharing knowledge—both about equipment features and the impact INCAPE’s raw materials have on our machines, knowledge that leads to better performance for our clients, since their success is ours as well. This is how companies progress, by working together”, he emphasized.

Raphael Rodrigues, Head of Technical Application at INCAPE, also commented on the importance of understanding client needs. “Better understanding our clients’ needs is essential to ensure we provide a product that is increasingly suitable, accurate, with high performance and quality.”
