INCAPE, a specialist in the production of core stock for the tissue market, was elected one of the best companies to work for in Santa Catarina, Brazil, according to the ranking released by the Great Place to Work (GPTW).

To reach the results, the global consultancy carries out studies of the organization’s culture of trust, performance and innovation, taking into account the employee’s perception, practices and behaviors of the company.

Proud of this achievement, the company believes that the recognition is the result of constant work to incorporate its corporate culture, called “Ser INCAPE” (or “Be INCAPE”, in English), which consists of developing people and applying inclusion strategies for all.

According to Andressa Fernanda Roeder, Human Resources supervisor, INCAPE’s evolution is constant, as the organization and employees seek the same goals and results, incorporating in their DNA the feeling of family.

“The company is considered as a second family for the employees, and our objective is to help everyone, aiming not only at professional well-being, but at personal well-being, seeking to develop the employee within the company, offering opportunities for study and growth,” says the supervisor.

In the professional’s opinion, being part of the GPTW award is a collective victory, as union and a sense of accomplishment are part of INCAPE’s organizational policy, through which the company improves its practices daily.

“Receiving this award comes from the success of valuing human capital, anchored in pillars to strengthen employees and the community, emphasizing our commitment to generating opportunities and social development,” says Thiago Karam, director of INCAPE.

The company also stands out for the creation of programs such as INCAPE MAIS (INCAPE More, in English), which consists of sustainability and reforestation initiatives, incentives for sports practices, integration and development of society, as well as community qualification and education. In addition, INCAPE carries out frequent actions for the awareness, development and well-being of its team.

“Being INCAPE is what makes us unique. It is knowing that we are INCAPE for the talents that our employees have, for the engaged and harmonious organization, for the good practices in people management and for our constant care in generating opportunities, realizing dreams and developing people. It is with gratitude that we congratulate and thank the entire team; this is an achievement for all of us”, concludes Geraldo Karam, president of INCAPE.

As a next step, the company is moving towards its expansion project, with the construction of a second manufacturing unit in Santa Catarina, which will generate around 150 new jobs, collaborating even more with the socioeconomic development of the state.
