Infinity Machine and Engineering Corp’s VISION G3 Wrapper is the future of packaging

The VISION G3 Wrapper can produce packs up to five lanes wide, three layers high and six rows deep, all within a small footprint while using sustainable design practices

World-wide leading manufacturer of automated packaging machinery for the tissue paper industry, Infinity Machine & Engineering Crop. continues its trend of innovation with the launch of the VISION G3 Wrapper.

For the past 18 years, Infinity has been focused on providing excellent customer service and crafting high quality machinery utilizing cutting edge technology. The VISION G3 Wrapper is the pinnacle of these pursuits.

Produced by some of the best engineers on the planet, the VISION G3 Wrapper can produce packs up to five lanes wide, three layers high and six rows deep, all within a small footprint while using sustainable design practices.

The infeed of the machine features top and bottom choke belts, allowing for a larger maximum roll diameter, up to 250mm on two or three lanes or 190mm on all four lanes, all within a narrow machine. This creates the possibility of adding a fifth lane without major re-work. The infeed also features an integrated single bar and stacker, resulting in a shorter design.

Accessibility was at the forefront of the VISION G3’s design as it features a unique cantilevered overhead which allows for complete access to the entire machine. Additionally, the overhead has specialized side trucks which allow for high-quality paper wrapped packages.

A defining feature of the VISION G3 that truly separates it from other wrappers in its class is the telescoping design (patent pending) of the poly unwind. The poly unwind on the VISION G3 can adjust position for smaller pack formats by telescoping closer to the elevator. This results in the sheet traveling less distance and generating higher speeds creating better pack quality as the poly has less time to skew. This revolutionary new design allows the VISION G3 multipack wrapper to operate like a dedicated single roll wrapper when producing single roll towel and bath formats.

Consumer convenience is built into the VISION G3, since the wrapper’s frame, guarding and cabinet are integrated, Infinity can ship the machine to consumers in three pieces. This enables the customer to reduce the installation time to one or two days. With the VISION G3, finished packs can roll off the line by just the second day of installation.

As the global focus on sustainability increases, the VISION G3 excels in efficiency. The machine can be equipped with IE3 rated continuous duty motors for increased capability. In addition to this, air consumption is reduced by the removal of the counter folder air cylinders and the utilization of an electronically controlled unwind dancer. Power consumption is also decreased by the stacker motor as it automatically turns off and engages the break when in stand-by mode. The VISION G3 also boasts a minimum of moving parts, reducing future maintenance costs and the carbon footprint of the machine.

Additional options available on the VISION G3 include light annunciation for faults, light annunciation of sealing belt temperature, a live streaming camera system for machine monitoring/trouble shooting, tablet connectivity, a bar code reader to confirm correct materials and the capability to add a linear motor overhead.

The VISION G3 will be available for viewing during Infinity’s open house at their facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin, during 2022 and at their facility in Bologna, Italy towards then end 2022 or anytime virtually at infinitymec.com/vision-g3-wrapper. Put the future of packaging in your line of sight with the VISION G3 wrapper from Infinity Machine and Engineering Corp.
