The event, “Workplace Allies: The Power of Having Someone in Your Corner”, will offer strategies for workplace advocacy and inclusivity at Lincoln Financial Field

The ISSA Hygieia Network will hold its next networking and leadership conference, titled “Workplace Allies: The Power of Having Someone in Your Corner”, in Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The event, running from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will be hosted at the Tork Club within Lincoln Financial Field, home to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.

“We’re excited to announce our upcoming networking and leadership conference in Philadelphia”, stated ISSA Hygieia Network Program director Dr. Felicia Townsend. “We invite people to come and learn about the significance of workplace relationships and developing allyships from presentations by our spectacular collection of speakers”.

Participants will be provided with new strategies to better advocate for and support employees at all organizational levels. The conference will also focus on how to foster more inclusive environments where everyone can thrive and on the importance of securing mentors, sponsors, and peer relationships to achieve personal and professional goals.

“We’re especially honored to have Patricia Cimino, professional growth and mindset coach and founder of Patricia Cimino Coaching, kickoff the conference with her workshop, Rise Together: Coaching Yourself to Cultivate Effective Allyship!” added Townsend. “This will be a tremendous opportunity for attendees to learn about the key internal obstacles hindering allyship and how to develop the tools and strategies needed to improve their mindset and enhance their careers”.

A highlight of the event includes an exclusive tour of Lincoln Financial Field. Attendees will experience behind-the-scenes access to the 69,000-seat stadium, including visits to the Philadelphia Eagles’ locker room and press conference room. Photo opportunities will be available in the locker room with the Vince Lombardi Trophy from the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII championship. The tour also offers the chance to walk through the tunnel onto the field, replicating the game day experience of the players. It will conclude in the Tork Club with additional photo opportunities featuring Eagles legends and the team’s mascot, SWOOP.
