Metsä Fibre announces new Senior Vice President of pulp production

Timo Ahonen will take on the role starting August 1, 2025, also joining the company’s Management Team

Metsä Fibre has named Timo Ahonen as its new Senior Vice President of pulp production, effective August 1, 2025. He will become part of the company’s Management Team and report directly to CEO Ismo Nousiainen.

Ahonen currently leads Metsä Board’s Tako board mill as Vice President. He will take over the role from Mikko Nieminen, who is moving to Metsä Tissue to serve as Senior Vice President, Technology.
