Ontex receives CDP ‘A’ rating for the second consecutive year for climate leadership
The company was recognized for its corporate transparency and climate change performance
Ontex Group, a leading international developer and producer of personal care solutions, has received an ‘A’ rating from CDP for the second year in a row, recognizing its leadership in corporate transparency and climate change performance.
In its 2025 CDP Climate Change assessment, Ontex achieved strong scores across key management and disclosure categories, including governance, business strategy and value chain engagement. The assessment also outlines priorities for the next phase of the company’s climate journey, such as scaling energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions, strengthening emissions reduction initiatives, and further embedding climate considerations into financial decision-making.
Throughout 2025, Ontex reinforced its climate performance through concrete actions, including achieving 100% renewable electricity across its operations, further integrating carbon transparency into product innovation through its sustainability scorecard, and deepening collaboration with suppliers to improve the accuracy of Scope 3 emissions reporting.
According to Annick De Poorter, Chief Innovation & Sustainability Officer at Ontex, the renewed ‘A’ rating reflects the robustness of the company’s climate governance and the integration of climate-related risks and opportunities into strategic decision-making, amid increasing demands for transparency and measurable progress.
