Plenty introduces compostable kitchen roll to support household sustainability
Plenty Original sheets now certified compostable, helping reduce landfill waste while maintaining strength and absorbency

Plenty has announced that its Plenty Original kitchen roll sheets are now officially certified compostable, marking another step in the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The product, known for its strength and absorbency, continues to deliver reliable performance while offering an eco-friendlier disposal option.
Plenty products are made using responsibly sourced fibres from certified sources like FSC® (FSC-C003255) or recycled materials. With this new compostability certification, consumers can now safely add used Plenty Original sheets to their compost bins, provided the mess and cleaning agents involved are also compostable.
Composting, a natural process that transforms organic waste into nutrient-rich soil, helps divert material from landfills and supports a healthier environment. Plenty encourages consumers to review composting guidelines to ensure proper use.
Beyond compostable paper towels, Plenty continues to work on other sustainability initiatives, including incorporating recycled content in packaging and reducing transport emissions as part of its broader efforts to lower its carbon footprint.
