Ontex strengthens nighttime care portfolio to support better sleep quality

On World Sleep Day, the company introduces innovations across baby care, feminine hygiene and adult care aimed at improving overnight protection and comfort

On the occasion of World Sleep Day, Ontex highlighted the importance of quality sleep as a key pillar of overall well-being. The company noted that concerns such as nighttime leakage, discomfort and product reliability continue to disrupt sleep for families with babies, women and individuals living with incontinence.

In response, Ontex reaffirmed its focus on developing dedicated nighttime solutions across its core categories—baby care, feminine hygiene and adult care—aimed at improving sleep quality at every stage of life.

In baby care, the company introduced Dreamshields® Night, a new diaper concept designed to deliver reliable overnight performance from early stages. The product features enhanced absorbency, front and back barriers, and elastic cuffs, creating a full protection zone against leaks and helping reduce nighttime disruptions for both babies and caregivers.

This launch complements the Dreamshields® 360 range introduced previously, further expanding Ontex’s nighttime baby care offering. According to the company, these solutions address one of parents’ main concerns: sleep deprivation and its direct impact on stress and daily well-being.

 

At the same time, Ontex emphasized the growing demand for nighttime solutions in both feminine and adult care segments. In adult care, the company has developed products with extended designs, including pads that are up to 30% wider at the back, improving protection while lying down and reducing the need for nighttime changes.

In feminine hygiene, Ontex offers ultra pads with all-night protection, featuring up to 60% larger absorption zones and 20% wider backs, designed to meet women’s expectations for comfort and reliability during sleep.

According to Lilian Girlea, nighttime has become a critical moment in the consumer care experience, driving demand for dedicated solutions that support health, confidence and daily performance. The company added that investing in nighttime-focused innovation also delivers value to retail partners through improved product differentiation and consumer trust.
