HealthyBaby appoints Stephanie Davis Michelman as new president
Executive with experience at major global beauty brands takes on new role to lead the company’s marketing, sales, and multichannel growth
HealthyBaby, a brand dedicated to protecting and enriching every baby’s full potential during developmental years with safe and scientifically proven products, has announced the appointment of Stephanie Davis Michelman as president of the company, in a strategic move to accelerate its expansion in the baby care market. The executive takes on the newly created role with responsibility for leading key areas such as marketing, sales, digital, and portfolio development, reporting directly to CEO and founder Shazi Visram.
With more than 20 years of experience, Michelman has built her career in leadership positions at global beauty companies, including NEST NY, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Benefit Cosmetics, and The INKEY List, where she most recently served as CEO. Her arrival aligns with HealthyBaby’s period of accelerated growth and its ambition to expand the brand’s presence across both retail and direct-to-consumer channels.
According to Visram, the appointment reflects the need to strengthen the company’s ability to scale while maintaining alignment with its value proposition. “Our priority at HealthyBaby has always been to provide parents with truly healthy and informed choices, from preconception through early childhood, to support children’s healthy development. So when it came time to expand our business, I knew we needed someone who not only had all the necessary capabilities, but who also lives our mission,” said the executive. “Stephanie is, first and foremost, a mother and an experienced marketer, and she also has a deep understanding of the parents who seek out HealthyBaby products, guided by research.”
The appointment follows a period of strong performance for the company. In 2025, HealthyBaby recorded growth of over 60%, driven by demand for products focused on health and safety in child care. The brand also expanded its customer base, surpassing 50,000 new customers, while strengthening its retail presence, including partnerships with major chains.
Founded by Visram, the company positions itself as a health-focused brand from preconception through early childhood, with an emphasis on non-toxic and sustainable products. The founder’s track record also includes the creation of HappyBaby (Happy Family Brands), later acquired by Danone, reinforcing her history of building disruptive brands in the segment.
STRATEGY FOR 2026
For 2026, HealthyBaby plans to advance the expansion of its portfolio, focusing on solutions aimed at children’s physical and cognitive development. The strategy includes strengthening personal care, skincare, and supplement categories, as well as expanding its presence across sales channels.
Michelman highlights her alignment with the company’s mission as one of the main motivations for taking on the role. “As a mother, I have always been very selective about the products I bring into my home. If the HealthyBaby brand had existed back then, I would certainly have sought it out for my own children, given its commitment to clean, safe, and sustainable products. Taking on this role is a natural extension of the trust I have in the brand. Shazi is a pioneer in creating truly groundbreaking brands, such as HappyBaby Organics in 2003, with forward-thinking innovations made for the parents of the future,” said the new president. “I am incredibly proud to help grow a brand that puts its mission first and that families can safely use every day on their babies’ developing bodies.”
With this new leadership, the company reinforces its strategy of sustainable growth and its positioning in a market increasingly driven by health, transparency, and innovation.
