TouchMax, our 5-roll embosser, in Brazil
Gambini’s Joinville unit advances in local technology production and presents the TouchMax embosser to the market during an event in São Paulo
For the past two years, a real alternative for tissue producers has been available in Brazil: with its plant in Joinville, in the state of Santa Catarina, Gambini is able to offer concrete opportunities to the Brazilian market.
April 2026 marks exactly two years since the founding of Gambini Brasil. Following the official announcement made by Dineo Silverio, now Managing Director of the Brazilian headquarters, when everything was still under construction, the company now operates a 2,500 sqm facility in the Perini Business Park, where an ever-growing team is producing Gambini technologies in Brazil for the first time.
The first wet embossing machine, the AirMill, was installed at the end of 2025 at Damapel, and additional units are already in production.
The current objective is to launch the TouchMax embossing machine, another technology characterized by flexibility and suited to meeting the demands of an evolving market.
This machine is equipped with five embossing rolls always on board, allowing for quick pattern changes and cost optimization. In this way, TouchMax supports highly flexible production through a system that is efficient, easy to operate and safe.
The Tissue Summit Brasil, held in March in São Paulo, represented an initial opportunity to present TouchMax to the Brazilian market.
Dineo Silverio, together with Pedro Tassinari, Sales Manager for the LATAM region, introduced to the public, for the first time, a new technology capable of generating a tangible impact on tissue production in Brazil and across South America.
