Cheek Sheets launches absorbent sheets designed to manage moisture between the cheeks
Personal care product uses individually wrapped, ultra-thin absorbent sheets; company raised $10,074 through a Kickstarter campaign in April 2026
Cheek Sheets has announced the launch of its namesake absorbent sheets, a personal care product designed to absorb perspiration and manage moisture between the buttocks. The company describes the product as an ultra-thin, dry and discreet alternative intended to help prevent discomfort and unwanted odors associated with excess moisture.
The product consists of a dry, 4-by-3-inch absorbent sheet made from spunlace filtration media. Each sheet is individually wrapped and designed to be placed between the cheeks to absorb moisture. The company says the product does not require powders, sprays, adhesives or wet wipes.
“Butt sweat is something almost everyone understands, but nobody really wants to talk about,” says Alex Wirtz, founder of Cheek Sheets. “The more I looked at the problem, the more ridiculous it seemed that there were products for sweat almost everywhere else on the body, but nothing this simple for your cheeks. We didn’t need to reinvent personal care. We just needed to make something that helps people feel drier, comfortable and confident.”
KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN FUNDED PRODUCTION
Cheek Sheets first introduced the concept publicly on April 1, 2026, coinciding with April Fools’ Day, through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. According to the company, the product initially prompted laughter but also attracted financial support from backers.
The 30-day campaign raised $10,074, exceeding its $10,000 funding target. A total of 32 backers contributed to the campaign, providing the company with the financial validation it said it needed to proceed with production.
“Launching on April Fools’ Day felt right because the first reaction to Cheek Sheets is usually a laugh,” Wirtz says. “Then about five seconds later comes, ‘Wait…that actually makes a lot of sense.’ That reaction has been there from the beginning.”
PRODUCT DESIGNED FOR EVERYDAY USE
Cheek Sheets are unscented and individually packaged, with a thin design intended to allow users to carry them discreetly in a pocket, gym bag, backpack or purse.
The product is intended for situations in which heat, physical activity or prolonged sitting can contribute to moisture buildup. Potential uses include commuting, exercising, attending outdoor events, traveling, weddings and working during hot weather.
According to the company, the sheets are designed to absorb perspiration before it accumulates, helping users maintain a drier sensation and reduce unwanted odors associated with sweaty conditions.
