Asia Pulp & Paper recognized as the best Pulp & Paper producer at The Asian Export Awards 2020
The launch of the company's Signature brand, a premium range of copier paper products, is behind the reason for earning the recognition

Its launch of Signature, a premium range of copier paper characterised by high smoothness, high thickness and stiffness, and high brightness and whiteness, has earned for the company a trophy in the Pulp & Paper category, Large Corporate division of the Asian Export Awards 2020.
Signature is a high-quality product that is useful in various reports, theses, résumés, portfolios, brochures, and other professionally printed documents. Equipped with the new TrueTone technology, Signature has a high performance and print quality evident in its excellent water fastness and fade resistance, high colour gamut without bleeding, higher ink holdout, and fast ink drying. Uniform ink absorption, colour brilliance, and print clarity are due to the high smooth surface at minimum of bekk 40 sec/10 ml. The product is available at 80 GSM with A4 (210 mm x 297 mm) and A3 (297 mm x 420 mm) sizes.
With Signature, APP has racked up the following achievements: optimising the paper product for digital printing with its new TrueTone technology and surface with whiteness of CIE 165%, thereby allowing sharp images in true colours with maximum print contrast. ensuring high thickness at 110 μ, providing confidence to users who are holding a thicker sheet in hand and also ensuring jam-free performance on printing machines, making it suitable for two-side printing; and sourcing the pulp from 100% sustainable plantation wood to minimise the environmental impact and sustain the company’s tradition of manufacturing wood-free paper for more than 30 years.
