On September 13th and 14th of this year, the Tissue Summit Latinoamérica 2023 will take place, an event that brings together the main players and decision makers in the tissue and personal care market in Latin America.
In this edition, the program is even more diversified, with two days of debate panels in a new format, in addition to presentations and exhibitions on the tissue and personal care market, which will address the theme “ESG: Innovating with responsibility”.
The choice of the central theme of the conference was due to the high relevance of the ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) agenda, which continues to gain prominence in the global corporate scenario, being a recurring subject for companies in the pulp and paper sector.
Within this agenda, companies of all sizes direct their efforts to minimize their impacts on the environment, contribute to a fairer world and improve their administrative processes. Thus, they seek to combine innovations with sustainability, uniting productivity, efficiency, and socio-environmental concern.
PROGRAM
The main novelty of this edition of the event are the segmented debate panels. After the presentations, which will take place in segments, the speakers will meet for a debate of ideas and perspectives on the topics addressed in each segment. Panels will be moderated by Felipe Quintino, founder and CEO of Nexum Group, followed by questions from the conference audience.
Among the highlights of the event is the lecture by Andres Felipe Patiño Forero, Sustainability Specialist at Grupo Familia, who will address the main ESG actions implemented by the company. Afterwards, an executive from Euromonitor International will bring the main insights of the research company in the lecture entitled “Opportunities & challenges in the Latin America tissue market”.
The program also includes other presentations by experts from major companies in the sector and the tabletop exhibition, with various networking and business opportunities.
