Essity United States launches TENA washable boxers for men’s incontinence
The new solution combines advanced textile technology, discretion and comfort to improve user confidence and daily performance
Essity, the global hygiene and health company, has announced in the United States the launch of TENA Men’s Washable Protective Boxers, a reusable solution designed to provide discreet protection against light bladder leaks without compromising comfort or everyday style.
The product features a built-in protective pouch powered by advanced textile technology, capable of effectively capturing drips while remaining invisible under clothing. Made from 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane, the boxers are designed to offer a soft, breathable and comfortable fit for daily use.
Key features include a quick-dry top layer to help keep skin dry, a dual absorption system that captures liquid within seconds and a leak-proof barrier that ensures secure containment. The product can be washed and reused up to 100 times in standard laundry cycles, contributing to waste reduction and more efficient resource use.
The launch responds to a growing market need, as millions of men experience light bladder leaks but often avoid traditional solutions due to stigma or visibility concerns. With this development, the company aims to offer a solution that combines functionality and discretion, allowing users to maintain their daily routines with greater confidence.
Essity has a strong presence in North America, employing nearly 3,700 people across the United States and Canada, with an extensive network of manufacturing, distribution and commercial operations in hygiene, personal care and medical solutions.
