First Quality expands production of absorbent hygiene products
The company will increase its manufacturing capacity for baby diapers by 50% and incontinence products by more than 25%
First Quality has unveiled plans to expand its production capacity for absorbent hygiene items, with a 50% increase in the manufacture of baby diapers and training pants. These developments include the construction of a new production facility, the addition of new assembly lines for diapers and training pants, as well as the implementation of a state-of-the-art automated warehouse. It is estimated that this expansion will be carried out in phases and will be completed by June 2025.
In addition, First Quality will increase its production capacity for bladder control pads, protective underwear and underpads by more than 25%. This expansion will include investment in new manufacturing lines to meet the growing demand for its products. The company also plans to launch innovative new products not currently available in North America, as well as introduce improvements to the functions and features of its existing products. This expansion is expected to be completed by September 2025.
The specific locations where these expansions will take place will be announced during the second or third quarter of this year.
“These investments once again reaffirm First Quality’s continued commitment to the absorbent hygiene market, as well as our dedication to sustainability, supply chain optimization, product development and innovation,” said Allen Bodford, president of First Quality’s Absorbent Hygiene Division. “We look forward to completing these expansions and providing our customers with the innovative, high-quality products and services they have come to expect from First Quality.”
