Kimberly-Clark commits $10 million to support tornado recovery in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley
Funding will be distributed over the next three years to support long-term relief, recovery, and resilience initiatives in the region following the recent tornadoes
Kimberly-Clark Corporation has pledged $10 million to support recovery efforts in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley following the tornadoes that caused significant damage across the region. The funding will be provided over the next three years to assist long-term relief, rebuilding, and resilience initiatives.
The investment is among the largest community contributions ever made by the company and underscores its longstanding ties to Neenah, Wisconsin, where Kimberly-Clark was established in 1872.
“Neenah is our hometown,” said Mike Hsu, Chairman and CEO of Kimberly-Clark. “The people of the Fox Valley made Kimberly-Clark the company it is today. As the community begins the difficult journey of recovery, we are committed to working alongside our neighbors, community partners, and fellow businesses to help the Fox Valley emerge stronger than ever.”
According to the company, it is collaborating with local authorities, nonprofit organizations, public officials, and other community stakeholders to identify both immediate priorities and longer-term recovery needs. Kimberly-Clark said it is also assessing partnerships and initiatives where its financial support can deliver the greatest benefit.
The company stated that the funding will be allocated over a three-year period to help sustain recovery efforts and strengthen the region’s resilience over the long term.
