Kotex launches U.S. period care campaign for sorority houses
The brand plans to distribute nearly one million pads and liners to college sororities through an initiative linked to new members' bid cards
Kotex, a U.S. feminine care brand, launched a nationwide initiative targeting college sororities during recruitment season. The campaign turns traditional recruitment bid cards into an opportunity for new members to secure period care products for their respective sorority houses.
Through a sweepstakes, potential new members (PNMs) who receive a bid card can participate by posting a photo of the card on Instagram, tagging @kotexus and using the hashtag #KotexRushSweepstakes. The promotion runs from August 19 through September 9, 2026, with winners set to be announced on September 10 or shortly thereafter.
The campaign includes 100 randomly selected grand-prize winners, each receiving approximately 9,000 Kotex products. In total, the brand expects to distribute nearly one million pads and liners to help stock participating sorority houses with a year’s supply of period care products.
As part of the initiative, Kotex will also host the KX VIP Lounge at the University of Arizona on August 29 and 30. The space will offer private restrooms, period product recommendations and personal care stations for students during recruitment season.
