Metsä Tissue has appointed Michael Lanschützer as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Greaseproof Papers, effective 5 October 2026. In the new role, Lanschützer will report to Metsä Tissue CEO Sari Pajari-Sederholm.
Lanschützer has experience in the paper and packaging industries, having held leadership positions in general management and commercial functions throughout his career.
He joins Metsä Group from Mondi Group, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Mondi Jülich, a specialty papers converting plant in Germany that supplies the release liner and packaging industries.
