The Nexum Group launches, this Monday, August 1st, two new Brazilian communication channels: Portal Celulose and Portal Packaging. They are born as the new meeting points of these strategic and extremely relevant markets for the global economy.
“We are very happy with the creation of these channels. The idea that generated the new portals came from the understanding, this year, that our business consisted of connecting people, companies and businesses, which we were already doing well in the tissue paper segment, so it would be a good opportunity to expand to other markets in the pulp and paper sector. Another reason was to see that many companies that operate in tissue are also in these other sectors, which lacked good communication and this meeting point to make connections”, says Felipe Quintino, CEO of Nexum Group.
In addition, the launches reflect the current moment of consolidation of two sectors on the rise. “The packaging market has shown considerable growth in recent years, mainly due to the rise of e-commerce and orders via delivery, driven by restrictions and new consumption habits due to the Covid-19 pandemic”, points out Felipe. “Pulp is a fundamental input for the Brazilian industry, very versatile and used in various production chains. Brazil stands out as one of the largest producers of the fiber – being second only to the USA in manufacturing and occupying the position of the largest world exporter of the commodity”, he adds.
In these channels, readers will be able to find the latest in the sector, with relevant news and information on the pulp and packaging markets, in addition to exclusive content, which will strengthen exchanges and connections between the main players and its entire chain.
The launch is another important step by the Nexum Group, the largest communication ecosystem to connect the paper, pulp and personal care industries in the Americas. The group includes the Tissue Online Brasil, North America and Latinoamérica Portals, the Tissue Agency – a marketing agency that provides communication solutions for the industry, serving suppliers, manufacturers and converters in the paper production chain – and the successful Tissue Summit, which in September will have its first Latin American edition, in Colombia. Added to these brands are the recently announced projects, Portal Celulose and Portal Packaging.
“The arrival of the two new communication channels reinforces the group’s purpose of connecting the entire industry through our portals, in-person events and our marketing agency. We hope to continue counting on the prestige of our loyal audience and the trust of our partners and advertisers in this endeavor”, concludes Quintino.
