With the EU Deforestation-Free Regulation (EUDR) coming into effect on January 1, 2025, diaper manufacturers in the European Union will need to comply with stringent new rules ensuring that their products do not contribute to deforestation. This regulation imposes strict reporting standards for products containing key commodities, such as the wood typically used in processed wood fiber diaper cores, ensuring they are sustainably sourced and free of deforestation.
