Georgia-Pacific’s Laura Knebusch named among Ad Age’s Leading Women 2026

The company’s Senior Vice President of CPG Marketing and Customer Experience was recognized for her leadership, marketing innovation and contribution to business growth

Laura Knebusch, Senior Vice President of CPG Marketing and Customer Experience at Georgia-Pacific, has been named among Ad Age’s Leading Women 2026, a recognition honoring female executives for business results, team leadership, innovation and strategic vision in marketing.

Knebusch leads an organization of more than 80 marketing, media, analytics and consumer experience professionals responsible for the strategy and growth of Georgia-Pacific’s consumer and professional brands, including Angel Soft, Quilted Northern, Brawny, Sparkle, Vanity Fair and Dixie.

Over the past year, Knebusch has contributed to strengthening the company’s marketing organization and positioning its brands in a market shaped by changing consumer habits. Under her leadership, Georgia-Pacific expanded its use of artificial intelligence tools for creative development, media optimization and data analysis, while advancing its digital marketing and retail media capabilities.

Her leadership has also been associated with award-winning campaigns for the company’s brands. Angel Soft’s “Potty-tunity” campaign received Gold and Silver awards at Cannes Lions, while Quilted Northern’s “Keep It Quilted” campaign won the Grand Prize in Media Excellence at the ANA in-house agency conference. Brawny was also recognized by Fast Company as part of its Brands That Matter selection.

Knebusch joined Georgia-Pacific in 2008 and has held various leadership positions in brand management, shopper marketing and consumer experience before assuming her current role as Senior Vice President of CPG Marketing and Customer Experience in 2023.

The executives selected for Leading Women 2026 will be recognized at an awards luncheon in New York in October.
